Facilities Maintanance Tech Manager
Responsible to ensure the organization has the most suitable working environment for the business and its employees.
Responsible for maintaining building and grounds through performance and supervision of tasks related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, environmental, safety, custodial in compliance OSHA. Guidelines,
Manage construction requirements for all projects as well as overall implications on facility.
Coordinate with outside contractors, vendors and other departments for all facility projects while maintaining day to day operations minimizing impact to the business.
Ensure satisfactory completion of work by contractors.
Accountable for preparation of documentation to ensure Facilities work is carried out consistently and in accordance with OSHA regulations.
Work with other departments to assist in the design and execution of improvement projects and maintaining current facilities,
Negotiate new equipment and maintain existing equipment, including warehouse equipment.
Initiate and drive continuous improvement projects.
Work on improvement projects throughout the facility (painting, installation of cubicles, walls in offices, running electrical and ethernet lines, etc.).
Schedule and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation equipment.
Locate sources of problems by observing and listening to mechanical devices in operation in the warehouse, using precision measuring and testing instruments;
Perform daily building and ground inspections documenting actions.
Maintain a safe, clean working environment following safety rules/regulations. onserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish results.
Oversee contracted janitorial service, pest control, lawn care service and snow removal.
Maintain operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.
Other projects as deemed necessary by Executive team.
BS in Engineering or relative experience.
MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook
Purchasing and negotiation experience
Organized, Self-starter, Problem solver with Attention to detail
Mechanically inclined to solve machinery issues by being resourceful before purchasing
Ability to multi-task
