Facility Maintenance Supervisor
Supervises the maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, and fixed equipment to ensure that they are maintained in a safe and operational condition.\u00a0 Implements the maintenance program for grounds, buildings, and fixed equipment. Works with client\u00a0to complete major renovations and installations within the facility.

Facility Maintenance Supervisor major responsibilities:
Prioritizes, schedules, and supervises the maintenance work and repair of buildings, grounds, fixed equipment, fleet and facility maintenance support equipment.
Performs quality control over the work of subordinates.
Oversees the ordering of supplies, tools, equipment, and spare parts.
Provides and coordinates technical training for facility maintenance staff in various disciplines.
Utilizes various facility maintenance work management systems ensuring all data is accurately submitted in a timely manner.
Provides the information required by the City and State regarding storm water monitoring, permitting waste disposal, fuel tank, pump and Fleetwatch operation and compliance.
Works closely with client regarding all facility concerns regarding contract requirements.
All other duties as assigned.
Facility Maintenance Supervisor requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
College or technical training preferred
Must have valid State driver\u2019s license
Facility Maintenance Supervisor experience & skills:
3-5 years experience
Supervisory experience preferred
Knowledge of facility maintenance principles regarding cleaning, electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC systems, various paint and coating systems, other building systems, and mechanical repair
Understands applicable OSHA and EPA regulations
Knowledge of maintenance equipment and chemicals
Ability to estimate labor hours and time/material costs for completion of projects
Ability to analyze problems and properly implement solutions
Ability to read and correctly interpret schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and other technical documents
Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctions of equipment and systems
Ability to work under pressure to effectively devise and implement solutions in emergency situations and/or strict time schedules
Skill in instructing others in the proper use of equipment, materials, and procedures
Strong written and oral communication
Ability to use the tools, equipment, machines, and vehicles associated with facility maintenance
