Job Description:
HII – Mission Driven Innovative Solutions Inc. (HII-MIS) provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.
HII - MIS is currently seeking a Facilities and Asset Manager to work at the Air Force Agency for Modeling and Simulation (AFAMS) in Orlando, FL.
The contractor shall perform asset and facilities management and will shall be responsible for the tracking, receiving, distributing, maintaining, and accounting for hardware and software inventory and furniture at AFAMS.
Duties and Responsibilities
(t
o include but not be limited to the following):
·         The contractor shall monitor, manage, research and provide inputs the following for the Government to purchase:
o   Replacement of IT consumables (e.g., printer cartridges, storage media, printer paper, etc) and furniture. The contractor shall manage inventory, storage, and disposal of IT and all other consumables in accordance with DRMO policy.
o   Required software from Government-approved sources for all applicable AFCERTs, TCNOs, Special Interests (SIs) and related items.
o   Additional hardware and software tools which could improve the systems.
·         Track, maintain, and update a complete inventory of all current software and hardware products .
·         Maintain and update an ADPE Tracking Report for the ADPE program which tracks and manages AFAMS-owned IT assets.
·         Maintain current software license renewals.
·         Label all accountable equipment using AF Form 992 ADPE Identification or the appropriate equivalent.
·         Participate in AF Inspector General (IG) audits biannually
·         Assist with equipment disposal/sanitation procedures and activities. All equipment/furniture shall be disposed of in accordance with AF guidance.
·         Document and submit a Report of Survey to the appropriate AF Logistics Office if any accountable items are lost or damaged.
·         Coordinate with third-party software/hardware vendors supporting Government maintenance requirements.
·         Inspect and evaluate structures of any rooms that contain computer processors, IT equipment, wiring/cables and furniture.
·         Update and maintain an internal existing program that complies with regulatory requirements to manage risks associated with physical security (e.g., fire, hazardous materials, and waste), and establish and implement facility emergency response plans to safeguard the facility infrastructure
·         Establish, update, provide, and facilitate guidance to establish security procedures for the protection and safeguard of the AFAMS facility and IT property in preparing for a disaster response
·         Assist AFAMS by performing IT-related physical security activities
Qualifications and Experience:
Required-
·         10 years of experience in facility management and Air Force asset management.
·         Demonstrable experience creating and maintaining disaster recovery plans.
·         Experience with software licensing and vendors.
Security:
·         All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements
·         All applicants must currently hold a Secret level clearance.
·         The selected applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
