Their duties are wide-ranging, and their goal is clear — keeping America safe.   We are seeking Project Manager to support the Mission Support Facilities Program Management Office (MSF PMO) for U.S. Customs and Border Protection. This is full-time position; stationary in the Euless, Texas facility location will support the PMO Business Partners in numerous project management and facilities operations functions. Responsibilities: Write statements of work (SOWs), compose and coordinate comprehensive responses to proposals, and manage various facilities operations tasks Assist in the management, control, coordination, and execution of projects involving complex and long term leasing, space acquisition, and/or construction management while providing expertise in technical analysis and developing technical papers, briefings, and performance predictions          Responsible for the creation and upkeep of key deliverables as required by the client. Examples include Technical Analysis Reports, Briefing Presentations, Performance Prediction Reports, Monthly Project Schedule Updates and Budget and burn rate reports Coordinate the work of maintenance and operations organization with a variety of trades or technical disciplines and whose employees are widely dispersed. Assist with work operations among facility units and with other organizations, advise changes in the work organization or the assignment of functions to improve work flow and increase productivity Coordinate with representatives of other units to address changes and problems that affect outside organizations and help resolve technical problems not covered by precedents or established policies Develop project and/or contract supporting documentation as requested as well as: Requirements Development Request Form (RDR), Statement of Work (SOW), and Cost Estimates which capture the end user’s mission statement, objectives, disposal plans, technical details, and proposed ROM schedule and cost information Review and determine resource requirements for assigned projects to include routine maintenance and repair work Assist the Government client in tracking and conducting technical reviews associated with facility management and maintenance Utilize the required systems and document management processes used by the MSF PMO Oversee and implement programs involving identification and resolution of difficult issues or problems Ensure with the help of the government client that the facilities are operated, maintained, and cleaned in a manner that provides a productive and safe environment Coordinate and participate in real property management activities, and develop and update a monthly Real Property Management Report for the tracking of supply sources track inventory, update all real property inventory, account for all Government assets in the property and financial system of record, and ensure all real property documentation is properly updated Provide oversight and technical support on construction sites and project inspections and recommend solutions for specific problems that arise prepare trip reports to the Government client for each trip that is taken in support of construction management Qualifications: Eight (8) years’ experience in the project management in the construction field A Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering or a closely related field is required Proficiency in MS Office Suite as well as the ability to quickly assimilate and lean to be proficient with CBP’s required software systems Excellent Communication skills; both oral and written Proven critical thinking and problem solving skills Routine travel to project sites required (20% travel) Ability to pass a full federal background investigation and a drug screen Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.   Apply online at **** **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.
