Principal Responsibilities: JOB SUMMARY The Facilities Assistant is responsible for helping to Maintain the Boulder JCC facility, including duties associated with cleaning and maintenance of office and meeting spaces. The Facilities Assistant will also be called upon to help setup and break down for both internal meetings and external community events. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES \u001a Coordinate with Facilities Director and Event and Rental Manager to prepare for meetings and events \u001a Interface with organizations using Boulder JCC space to assure appropriate plans for set-up and clean up are in place \u001a Supervise caterers and other service staff \u001a Set up and break down tables and chairs for events, set up beverage service, etc. \u001a Assure supplies are stocked \u001a Provide early morning or after hours coordination, as needed \u001a Assist with general maintenance of JCC facilities including cleaning and maintenance Minimum Qualifications: JOB REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate will have a High school diploma or GED. 1 years experience in a Facilities related function preferred. Have excellent judgment and decision-making skills, knowledgeable in events management and building maintenance, excellent customer service skills with written and oral communication skills. Ability to use sound judgment and maintain confidentiality. Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to detail.
