Facilities Maintenance Technician General Summary: The Facilities Maintenance Technician reports to the Facilities Manager and is responsible for Electrical and general maintenance of all Charlotte based Facilities. This position will require driving between all Charlotte sites, knowing\/understanding all the spaces and the rules\/services provided by each Property Management firm. Areas of Responsibility Electricalinstall electrical outlets, within building code standards, in a corporate environmenttrace unmarked outlets to panels and have them properly labeledtroubleshoot electrical issues within furniture panel systems General plumbingremoving clogsrepair minor leakspreventative maintenance for floor drains and waterless urinals General carpentry skillsmount items item(s) to walls with the proper hardware ensuring weight does not become a safety riskremove\/reconfigure office furniturefix basic door hardware (closers, crash bars, etc) HVAC \/ Refrigeration preventative maintenanceSwap out of filtersTighten beltsCleaning of coils Other General MaintenanceAnnual inspection of all Emergency Egress lightingMonthly inspections of fire extinguisher levelsIdentify areas of risk from a safety perspective throughout the properties Physical Requirements : Required to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for long periods of time Lift and\/or move up to 50lbs Certifications and\/or License Requirements: Certified Electrician for commercial properties
