Oversee the daily tasks and schedules for Project Managers, Mechanics, CDL Operators and Laborers.
Communicate and discuss plans with on-site Safety professional.
Make sure policy and procedures are adhered to.
Carry out disciplinary measures as needed.
Recruit, hire and train new employees in key positions as needed.
Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
Remain accountable for all profit and loss figures.
A Bachelor Degree is preferred but not required. Any certifications would be desired.
10 years of experience in Maintenance, Facilities, Field Service and/or Shop Operations Management.
3 years of experience in Management and Leadership of people.
The successful candidate will come from an industrial setting…Automotive, Petro Chemical, Waste Management, Energy, Nuclear, Steel, Chemical Processing or Mining.
Strong Project Management skills are needed.
The ability to meet with, service and communicate with customers is needed.
Experience in Office or Department Financials including running a P&L and Budget.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
