rnMust hold or be eligible for a valid Georgia Educator's Certificate in Educational Leadership and/or Support Personnel License issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
rnBachelor's degree in related field required.
rnStrong leadership skills and project management experience; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to establish and foster progressive working relationships with stakeholders and staff to develop partnerships and collaboration; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to conceptualize abstract models/issues and organize them into an operational design; ability to think strategically with appropriate level of detail analysis to plan and execute; and ability to execute continuous quality improvements.
rnWork Experience
rnFive years of progressively responsible experience, including supervisory responsibilities, in business administration, operations, or a related field required.
rnProvide leadership and direction for the analysis, design, development, and implementation of business application solutions for the Division of Facilities and Operations.
rn1. Provide leadership, direction, and support in the development and enhancement of technical applications to support business operations across the Division of Facilities and Operations.
rn2. Direct multiple projects concurrently to ensure successful and timely completion of all projects in support of division initiatives and goals.
rn3. Direct the methodologies in capturing requirements of projects including enhancements to current applications.
rn4. Develop, manage, and maintain working relationships with stakeholders to ensure the business solutions are aligned with the stated goals and priorities.
rn5. Provide leadership in maintaining all deployed applications to ensure continuous quality product delivery.
rn6. Maintain understanding of overall business processes, work flows, and interdependencies of the Division of Facilities and Operations.
rn7. Serve as the primary stakeholder contact on all phases of technology projects, from problem definition through delivery, appropriately managing stakeholder expectations throughout the project.
rn8. Communicate and engage with key stakeholders and business partners to collaboratively solve business problems and effectively represent subject expertise.
rn9. Determine opportunities and identify solutions to improve capabilities and efficiency of business operations across the Division of Facilities and Operations.
rn10. Support the Chief Operations Officer in the planning and development of division strategies in support of the district’s mission, goals, and objectives.
rn11. Perform other duties as assigned.
rnWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time. The employee is also required to talk, hear, stand, and walk. The employee may be required to use hands to finger, handle, feel, and/or reach. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
