Inside Facilities Solutions Specialist
This position will be responsible for driving Facility and Breakroom category sales proactively within Staples Mid-Market Sales Channel. You will help identify facilities opportunities within our existing Office Supply customer base and ultimately add Facility and Breakroom products to their orders. You will also act as a conduit between the outside Facilities Solution Sales (FSS) Team and Facility Implementation Team to ensure that the programs are implemented and supported properly.
Proactively selling FS products and programs into Mid-Market accounts
Customer profiling and qualifying
New marketing and proactive sales campaigns
Facility and Breakroom procedures
Support Mid-Market by co-selling to existing customers via a consultative approach, in addition to resolving any customer selling issues around the category
Handle all customer facility pricing / bid exercises
Actively work on Facility and Breakroom customer opportunities
Conduct analysis to find Facility and Breakroom customer opportunities
Consult on strategic approach for customer engagement
Track and manage all opportunities and pipeline via Salesforce.com to ensure all program requirements are met during the selling, implementation, and maintenance phases
Attend Facility Solutions team meetings to learn new product information, marketing information and procedures
Attend/participate in weekly and monthly team meetings to share best practices
Effective Communication skills building rapport, being friendly and a good listener. Good grammar/spelling. Knows the audience and is an active listener.
Business Acumen understanding Staples market position, competitive landscape, and key differentiators. Establishing and maintaining a professional & knowledgeable demeanor.
Strategic Selling Skills consistently following the established sales process learned via onboarding. Effective partnerships with key stakeholders. Holding self personally accountable to proactive performance metrics and sales/margin.
Effective Time Management to complete daily/weekly activities on time. Multi tasking to set time side to SELL. Weekly manager updates such as the (GAP plan and Opportunity Forecasts).
Inside Account Management driving customer retention/growth by building relationships and gaining credibility. Connecting with customers, bringing information and insights to meet Staples and customer goals. Maximizing accounts by researching customers buying habits and patterns.
