Bancroft is currently seeking a Facilities Specialist. Under general direction from the director of facilities manages various tasks related to housing, renovation and construction, utility management, household goods, furniture and all related Facilities responsibilities. Responsibilities Provides support for the Director of Operations and Director of Construction and Property Acquisition for various tasks associated with all aspects of Facilities In the absence of the Directors, the specialist shall assume the duties and serve as the key contact Perform in an administrative capacity as needed Develops and maintains all utility, phone and cable accounts as well as providing reports when needed. Maintains all NJ Department of Community Affairs Fire Safety Registrations\/Life Hazard certificates and RIMS database for all Bancroft New Jersey locations. Monitors the receipt and timely payment of related expenses and notifies appropriate township and state of all changes in occupancy. Assists property manager with all tasks associated with acquiring new homes, lease renewals and property vacates. Provide written and verbal timely and effective updates and feedback to the sr\/director and managers as needed. Ensure compliance with key regulations such as federal and state accessibility codes and various health and life safety requirements, (e.g.: ADA, OSHA, fire and building codes). Assist in the creation and submittals of applications, plans, and other documentation as needed. Responsible for purchasing housing\/office related furnishings and household goods for the organization. Attend construction \/ project meetings with facilities team, contractors and other key stakeholders, providing input and contributing to positive outcomes. Acts as communication liaison between Facilities and the organization. Fields donation offers and determines need with programs. Manages logistics of obtaining and delivering donation. Abides by the Bancroft Code of Ethics, Mission Statement, and Vision Statement in promoting ethical behavior, establishing relationships and providing guidance in decision-making situations. Remains current with required training certifications, meets state-regulated licensing and regulatory accreditations, and adheres to mandatory requirements. Maintains effective verbal and written communications with colleagues, those served, and their family members and\/or guardians when applicable. Maintains a safe and respectful environment, free of abuse, neglect, or exploitation; does not allow weapons, threats, bullying or intimidation. Reports any violations to the appropriate individual as soon as the incident occurs. Demonstrates Bancroft\u2019s core values of Teamwork, Compassion, and Independence in the performance of position responsibilities. Qualifications - High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of three years of relevant work experience in maintenance or facilities type environment. Experience working with Vendors, maintenance staff and budgets and a quality assurance type role. Comfortable and capable in working with computer applications. \u00a0- Ability to handle multiple requests for resources and be able to act quickly. A high level of computer skills and the ability to type at an advanced level is a must. Ability to interpret, analyze, and modify application generated data. Comfortable in a multitask environment. Effective oral and written communication skills, customer service skills, and ability to communicate guidance and instruction to users in Facilities related issues. Valid driver\u2019s license required in incumbent\u2019s legal name and current address with no provisional restrictions. Minimum 18 years of age required.
