Job Description: Facilities Supervisor The Facilities Supervisor will oversee or be the center of projects ranging from $500-$500,000, and occasionally will assist in projects up to $10 million. Projects include Infectious Control Risk Assessments (ICRAs) and Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSMs). This position must be able to manage Operational and Capital Budgets simultaneously, and supervise a team of 24 full-time employees operating in an everchanging hospital environment 24/7.Hospital experience with regulatory bodies to include The Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), local Fire Marshals, City and State, is highly preferred.u00a0 Under the direction of the department manager,The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department and employee performance. Exercises discretionary judgment in solving problems and working with employees. Uses working knowledge of applicable regulations, laws, techniques, procedures, and general principles and practices to ensure proper operation of equipment for the patients, employees, visitors, and physicians within the boundaries of Legacy Healthu00a0 Job Qualifications: Qualiications: High School diploma or the equivalent required; Engineering degree or the equivalent experience preferred. Hospital engineering experience preferred. Minimum three years facilities maintenance experience preferred; prior supervisory experience preferred. Valid driveru2019s license required. Driving record meets insurance carrier requirements. Skills: Working knowledge of applicable regulations, laws and techniques (i.e., knowledge of basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, grounds maintenance and related building trades) required. Solid interpersonal relations and verbal/written communication skills. Knowledge of computers and appropriate software programs required. Demonstrated comprehension of and use of proper ergonomics. Ability to plan, develop and facilitate training/in-service modules in an effective manner. Ability to work in a self-directed manner. Equal Opportunity Employer/Vet/Disabled
