Profile

Qualifications:
Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings
Must possess a valid Driver's License which meets company standards for approved driver status
Proficient in Microsoft Office productivity tools such as Word, Excel, and Power Point as well as ERP systems for reporting and project management software
Must possess an Associate’s Degree in Construction Management, Facilities Management or a related field from an accredited university or college. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years in project management experience involving construction trades and experience in large scale facility operation
Must exhibit project management capabilities with demonstrated prior experience
Demonstrated experience successfully managing the growth of facilities and developing the necessary facilities teams to support the growth. This includes prior experience managing facilities maintenance personnel such as licensed HVAC, Electrician, Plumber, and Certified Facilities Technicians
Knowledge of the mechanical principles, equipment, methods, techniques, and terminology used in operation, maintenance, and repair of the mechanical systems of buildings including plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, fire alarm/protection, occupational hazards and safety precautions related to maintenance
Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
The hours, days of work and work location may vary based on operational needs. The position requires 24 hours per day, 7 days per week availability
Ability to travel to all locations
Duties:
Provides updates on progress being made on a monthly basis
Develops and ensures implementation of preventative and predictive maintenance schedules for our facilities
Actively promotes the operations’ maintenance personnel through training to build individual skill sets and team capabilities
Implements and promotes efficiency improvement projects for all our facilities
Provides leadership and support for the operations’ maintenance staff and ensures alignment with all corporate standards and practices
Assists in the development of annual operational facility budgets and capital budgets for all facilities of the organization ensuring proper control and appropriate improvement plans are in place
Collaborates with staff in the planning, budgeting and scheduling facilities modifications or renovations including cost estimates and contracts with contractors
Develops and/or identifies local preferred contractors in all areas of the organization to provide maintenance, repair or renovation work
Performs condition assessments of the facilities structure and equipment
Works with the operations’ maintenance personnel to plan, develop, organize, and implement departmental goals and objectives along with administering policies and procedures that will improve the look and age of our facilities
Collaborates with architects and trade contractors on facility renovations and construction projects
Coordinates, with operational staff, the hiring of local contractors to address the repairs and maintenance of a facility when no organizational personnel are available/capable
Performs all other duties as assigned
