\u003cp\u003eThe Telecare Thurston Mason E\u0026amp;T (Evaluation and Treatment) is an acute 15-bed adult intensive treatment program. The program provides services to individuals experiencing severe psychiatric symptoms who may benefit from more structured services, supports, and secure setting. The program provides recovery-focused services. Telecare programs transform lives, generate measurable outcomes, and reduce financial costs. Services are designed to respond to local needs function as a strategic, accountable, and experienced partner within systems of care. The E\u0026amp;T is designated as a facility providing both voluntary and involuntary psychiatric care. E\u0026amp;T residents are ages 18 and stay on average 14 days.\u003c/p\u003e

\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\u003c/strong\u003e\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Demonstrates the Telecare mission, purpose, values, and beliefs in everyday language and contact with internal and external stakeholders\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Plans, organizes, directs, and controls the facilities management department\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Responsible for advising and consulting the facility Directors of Environmental Services\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Makes use of management practices that include empowerment of staff, provision of clear and concise expectations regarding duties assigned to employees, frequent feedback focusing on both positive and problematic aspects of work performance, and other management practices that are consistent with Continuous Quality Improvement\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Promotes and maintains harmonious and effective relationships and communications within the department and with other departments\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Assesses systems in order to develop plans for repair, replacement, or preventative maintenance in areas including HVAC, plumbing-water-sewage, electrical, building structure, roofing, telephone, grounds maintenance, security, and closed circuit TV\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Assesses quality and effectiveness of facility safety programs\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Assesses quality and effectiveness of ongoing therapeutic environment monitoring programs\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Writes and monitors contracts for renovations, repairs, and maintenance\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Available to respond to off hour emergencies by phone, or in person, as required\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Assists the Development Department in new projects requiring knowledge of OSHPOD regulations \u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Maintains up to date knowledge of all applicable licensing standards as they apply to facilities and environmental services, including applicable federal, state, and regulatory agency standards such as JCAHO, OSHPOD, DOH, Social Services, DMH, etc.\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Collaborates with other administrative staff in strategic planning activities with the goal of ensuring ongoing effectiveness of the program\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Available to assist at other Telecare facilities, which will involve some travel\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Establishes staffing requirements and recommends to administration the number and classification of personnel to be employed; may assist in the recruitment, selection of staff, and when necessary, disciplinary action within the facilities operations area\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Establishes and maintains job specifications and descriptions for facilities management staff and environmental services staff\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Develops standards to determine when external contracting should be considered instead of using internal resources\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Manages the Facilities Operations Department within allocated budgetary parameters and participates in the development of the fiscal budget\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Consults with and advises facilities managers in order to establish the most efficient and cost effective operations\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Maintains a listing of priority projects that should be addressed through the capital equipment process\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Annually, requests facilities to submit capital requests to be added to the capital program\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Monitors completion of projects and re-adjusts priorities as needs change\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of facilities management at the site level and for proper day-to-day maintenance \u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Supervises vendors and subcontractors when appropriate \u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Establishes and defines standards which ensure that safe practices are consistently followed within the department\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Assesses the quality of work rendered by individual facilities management staff and ensures that sound procedures are followed\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Establishes and maintains a comprehensive Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement program within the Facilities Operations Department which includes frequent collaboration with other departments, employee education, and a focus on monitoring departmental standards and actively removing barriers to the provision of high quality work performance\u003cbr /\u003eDuties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, and/or changed at the discretion of management.\u003c/p\u003e
