The APHCâ€™s mission is to promote health and prevent disease, injury, and disability of Soldiers and military retirees, their families, and the Department of the Army civilian employees; and assure effective execution of full spectrum veterinary service for Army and Department of Defense Veterinary missions. GDIT is seeking aFacilities Management Specialistto perform the following tasks and responsibilities:
Assists in the management of all facility operations to include overseeing contractor performing maintenance, custodial, and grounds work.
Duties may include providing guidance to tenants and the daily operations of the Institute, point of contact for various maintenance program activities, recording and tracking data, planning replacement and repair activities, tracking performance and history of all infrastructure components, monitoring and assessment of contractor work effort, scheduling preventive maintenance, performing on-site evaluations, preparing job orders, maintain control logs, job order follow-up, contract compliance and progress, prepares job completion documentation related to invoicing and payment, inventory, assembly, calibration, trouble shooting, and attend meetings.
Work may include image editing and working with the Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS). Expert knowledge and use of personal computer (PC) and various software packages such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and Windows.
Experience related to facility management.
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.
0-2 years of related facilities administration experience.
