Lead Facilities Maintenance Specialist - Phoenix, AZ (36th St Campus)

Use your knowledge of electronics, control systems and PLC programming skills to help Honeywell Aerospace deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our facilities and customers. You will work under immediate supervision and alongside some of the worlds most talented technicians. You will contribute to the development of Honeywells next generation of engine products by, testing and/or validating equipment. You will be part of the a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of the sites commitment to the organization and its customers.

Work with, maintain and repair complex and innovative equipment and machinery. Use your electro-mechanical skills by working on exciting products and technologies. Broaden and expand your knowledge by learning from highly experience technicians and participating in challenging assignments.

JOB ACTIVITIES

* Hands on equipment repair
* Provide high level technical support to team
* Coordinate project and improvement activities
* Support scheduling of work within team
* Write and perform complex work instructions and PM procedures
* Interface with process and production stakeholders
* Respond to emergencies and work until job is completed
* Train and mentor employees
* Maintain accurate records for PM activities
* Create reports and studies

YOU MUST HAVE
* High School Diploma or GED
* Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual
requirements

* Manufacturing experience
* Experience in troubleshooting, install and upgrading
of manufacturing equipment
* Heat treat maintenance and process preferred
* Strong analytical skills and creative thinking
* Strong written and verbal communication
* Knowledge of control system incl. PLC
programming and troubleshooting
* Ability to work in a team environment.
* Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
* Ability to obtain Security Clearance

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
