Responsibilities
Complete Building Services is in search of a full-time on-site Quality Control Manager (QCM) to support our large government facility contract at the Pentagon. The QCM will oversee the quality of work performed meets and exceeds clients requirements and expectations. The QCM shall be responsible for daily, weekly, monthly reporting as required by the contract requirements.
The ideal candidate must have prior experience in supporting a Facilities Maintenance contracts for large government and hold a valid DC and/or VA HVAC Masters license. The role will include implementing methods to inspect, test, and evaluate work performed by in-house staff and subcontractors which includes documentation of inspection and reporting findings in the CMMS MAXIMO. The goal is to ensure that work performed meets or exceeds established quality standards and industry practices. QCM will be responsible to prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data, working with the technical staff to resolve any discrepancies and implement control methods to provide corrective actions in processes to ensure standards of performance. To ensure the completed work is according to industry best practices with associated follow-up. Daily monitoring of MAXIMO to ensure all service requests and preventative tickets are being completed on schedule and with correct data entry. QCM will also be required to participate in monthly reviews as required by the contract.
The job duties include:
Ensuring work completed by technical staff is on schedule for service calls, preventative maintenance, and repairs through various audit methods, inspections, tests, and measures in accordance with job plans
Weekly equipment configuration inspections to ensure overall system performance is satisfactory
Monitor the management systems for compliance with applicable directives governing recall, maintenance, repairs, and inspections of necessary support items such as documentation, calibration of equipment, and material handling devices
Inspect procedural documentation, technical manuals, and other standards and specifications
Ensure that personnel performing repairs to equipment follow all procedures governing the repair and operation of the applicable equipment
Perform, witnesses, monitors, and verifies the inspections, repairs, alterations, and tests performed by shop personnel
Monitors industry trends, makes recommendations for process improvements
Ability to collaborate with all stakeholders to effectively foster innovation to improve operational efficiencies
Qualifications
Five (5) years experience working as a Quality Control inspector facility maintenance
Must possess a Master HVAC license VA or DC
Must possess a Universal CFC and EPA 608 certification
Current OSHA 10/30 certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment)
Experience in Facilities Management analytics, report writing and fault analysis
Demonstrated strong familiarity with operations and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC-R systems supporting commercial office buildings
Excellent analytical and organization skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills
