This position is located in Tulare, CA.In support of our client's mission “Living God’s love by inspiring health, wholeness and hope.” the JLL Facilities Director is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, attractive physical environment to provide quality patient care and service to all customers. The scope of responsibilities include leadership over Plant Services (Building), Safety, Security, Landscape/Grounds, Environment of Care regulations/Life Safety, Environmental Services and Linen, property lease administration and oversight of construction projects.  The Facilities Director will coordinate with CVN Security as well as  EVS contracts, shared resources and emergency management assets within the network, reporting to the Regional Facilities Director. Relocation assistance may be available to the ideal candidate. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS •             Primarily responsible to carry out functions of leadership in alignment with expectations for Facilities Director position within host hospital.  Additional duties for this role include participation with and support of facilities leaders within an assigned network of aligned hospitals.•            Includes but is not limited to participation in leadership training, fostering organizational culture and mission, mentoring within network and meeting service/productivity standards.•             Uses discretion and independent judgment in organizing and directing Site Facilities Operations teams which includes but is not limited to regulatory compliance and management, quality assurance activities and programs, financial performance and reporting and personnel management and development.•             Accountable for ensuring that all building systems and equipment are installed and maintained in accordance with Joint Commission (EC/LS) standards and all other applicable State/Federal/Local regulatory requirements.•             Accountable for financial performance related to Operational Facilities spend while ensuring adherence to established operating budgets.•             Point of escalation for all facility concerns and/or grievances by patients, physicians and staff.  •             Creates monthly and annual performance reporting for direct reports.•             Develops and maintains strong internal Account relationships in the areas of Real Estate/Lease Admin, Projects/Capital Management, QA-Performance Management, Finance, HR, and Sourcing. •             Maintains strong relationships with firm Real Estate; Project, and Procurement team leaders; Area Engineering & Operations Managers; Environmental Services, Energy & Training national managers; Regional Directors, Technical Support, Platform, Procurement, National Projects Director and Human Resources Managers to leverage the JLL service offerings on behalf of the customer.•             Creates a safe work environment for staff by ensuring adherence to all safety/infection control policies and procedures/practices to include but not limited to the wearing of appropriate protective clothing and gear and the proper handling of contaminated equipment and tools.•             Attend and actively participate in Hospital Sponsored committee meetings to include but not limited to (Infection Control/Safety/Quality/Disaster-Emergency Preparedness).•             Manages and determines the degree of compliance with applicable standards, as directed by JLL management, specifically in the areas of Joint Commission Environment of Care/Life Safety, CMS, Title 22/24 California Administrative Code, OSHPD, NFPA, OHSA, Safety Management, Security Management, Bio-Hazardous Waste and Hazardous Materials Management and Waste. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE •             Bachelor’s degree (facilities-related), preferred.•             Minimum 5 years of relevant and recent leadership experience in a hospital environment, required.•             Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) or similar, preferred.•             Recent The Joint Commission/CMS Survey experience at the hospital level required.•             Experience working in a distributed Management Organizational Model.•             Excellent interpersonal skills and experience leading/managing a complex site.•             Strong verbal and written (report) communications skills;
