3M's Wonewok Conference Center has an immediate need for a Facility Supervisor. This position will be located in Park Rapids, MN. Job Summary: The job requires proven knowledge, expertise and experience in Facilities Management. The employee primarily uses established proficiencies and abilities to provide solutions to assigned Facility related projects and building assignment utilizing establishing methods, practices, concepts, metrics and technology. Problem solving requires the interpretation and understanding of 3M policies, facilities guidelines, industry standards, and client needs. Responsibilities: Facility Support Acts as liaison between 3M Resources and outsourced service providers in providing services and products, solving problems and offering solutions to facility operations workgroups and management. Serves as primary contact in delivering all facility related services, such as Plant Engineering, Sourcing, Facilities Engineering, Vendor Services, Outside Suppliers, Security, Grounds maintenance, Custodial, Housekeeping, EHS coordination, etc. to clients; proactively works with clients in an effort to anticipate their future and changing needs. Communicates facilities management and corporate policies to staff and vendors, and applies them to the job. Establishes credibility and trust with staff, vendors and management. (50%) Work coordination and Project Management Provides project leadership and direction to Facilities maintenance, renovations and facility projects, under minimal direction. Coordinate work assignments and schedules. Provides leadership and direction to contractors and vendors. Participates on and may lead functional and cross-functional teams. Works on multiple and more complex projects designing work place strategies. Drives and leads metric performance towards more efficient facilities utilization. (25%) Interactions Interacts with other Facility Administrators, in addition to other 3M functions such as Plant Engineering, Sourcing, Facilities Engineering, and 3M Vendors to develop a network of resources for completion of assignments. Acts as coach or mentor to employees. (15%) Financial Management Pro-actively manages, monitors and analyzes facility operational costs and efficiencies on a weekly and monthly basis utilizing operations registers, shop work order reports, fixed asset reports, and other tools. Recommends and implements process improvements that will reduce operational costs, improve productivity and increase efficiencies. Makes recommendations and provides input to the global 3M forecast process. (10%) Relocation is not authorized for this position.
